CEREC is a state-of-the-art system that allows our team to create you with a natural-looking, custom-made crown in just one visit. Using CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) technology, we will create your crown while you wait.
Traditionally, when you get a crown, you come in for an impression and leave with a temporary crown until the final crown is ready for placement. The process takes two appointments and up to a few weeks to complete. With CEREC, you never have to wait again.
We will scan your tooth with the special CEREC device to create a digital impression. With that, we make a 3D design of your crown. The design is sent to our CEREC milling machine, where your crown will be created in just a few hours. Finally, your crown is polished and bonded in place, so you can go home with a beautifully restored smile!
